Oh California. How I miss you. Was just thinkin aboutthis past Spring break and how much fun I had. Time flies. Maybe again soon I'll go back.

Happy Birthday Grandma

What an awesome day! My grandma turned 77 years old today and she's still kickin! She is one amazing woman and I couldn't of asked for a better one! We celebrated dinner at the house tonight. Mama cooked black eyed peas and cornbread, Grandma loooooves that meal, and it was very yummy! We had an awesome prayer, followed by awesome food, with awesome laughter, and Gradnma's awesome gifts! What an awesome day :)

I have not been on here in a while. Well, today I researched a bit about photography as I am starting to get my own edge. My website will be coming soon..hopefully by the end of Summer I will have everything up and running. I will post my website once I get it started and mostly done. :) Have a good night blog world!

Productive Day

Today, I went to Plato's Closet. I brought in about 3 Walmart bags of clothing, I'm guessing there were about 25 shirts, 1 belt, 2 pairs of shoes, 1 purse, 4 dresses, and 5 pants, and a skirt. They took 5 things. UGH! Ha. They gave me $9.75..not too bad. I spent that later on Sonic dr . pepper and the rest will be spent on toothpaste from Walmart! Ha. So that's at least good. I worked out for almost 2 hours today. I love going to the gym, where I will be working at this Summer. When I work out, it's like I'm in my own little world. Then, tonight was church. Oh, how I looove church! Being surrounded with friends and family. :) I love being back home.

I also have staff training to be a Child Day Camp Councelor, at Lifetime, on the 22nd. I'm excited! I haven't really been told I GOT THE JOB..but, the lady in charge was very excited that I wanted to work it.. so we will see if I hear from her. If not, IM TOTALLY CALLING HER ON THE 21st!!

Today, I finished my Intramural paper. It was supposed to be 3 pages, but I made it 6 pages because I am just that good. Coach said he would rather me have a big paper than anything. I am glad that paper is off my shoulders now!



I wasn't really that hungry today, so I just had two apples and some peanut butter for lunch, and my weakness, dr pepper. I loove going to the cafeteria with Lauren and just talking about whatever comes to mind. It's a stress relief! I used my last swipe today.. how sad! Lois, the cafe lady, said that I can come up there without swipes since I'm leaving for good on Friday. I will miss her

Chicken Monday

Yep. Today is Monday. 2 finals to take. Stats and Senior Bible. I already took Stats this morning. It took about 15-20 minutes and them *BOOM*! I was outta there! I was a little sad to be leaving the place I had known for four years. My last time to walk that gym building and say "SEE YOU LATER!!"... when really, there was no later. I hope to at least get all A's and B's for my semester grades! That would be very exciting. The only class I'm worried about is Senior Bible. My exam is in an hour and 10 minutes from now, and I have studied a total of 3 hours for it. I'm taking a breather right now, as I write my blog, so I can rest what is left of my brain!

MY GOALS FOR TODAY:
- finish my intramurals paper/turn it in
- find a substitute job for Wednesday
- do reallllyyyy good on my Bible final
- pack a few more things into my car
- platos closet to sell clothes
- laundry

Yummy Custard

Today..my roomie, Lauren, and her boyfriend, Lane, and I went to Pink Swirl, a frozen custard place. I took a few pictures of my day so that there was proof i was there. Ha! But I had fun..I'm going to miss that place when I leave here Friday. Had some good times there..with the big flat screen...watchin sports...seein a culture of famillies come in..good times.









I also dominated in volleyball today. I cant wait to go back to Texas and start playing with my friends there. I spiked about 5 good ones and hit my serves about 90% accurate every time. GO ME!!

One Saturday Morning

Today, my roommate, Lauren, and I watched The Time Traveler's Wife. What a great movie! I would recommend this movie, as a family movie, to anyone.

My goals for today:
-Laundry
-3 page paper due next week
-find a substitute job for next week
-load a few things in my car

6 more days until graduation! Then .. summer school... THEN I OFFICIALLY GRADUATE! WOOT!

Sister Sister

My beautiful sister. I love you sistaaa! <3

Today, I thought I would pay a bit of tribute to my sis, Natalie. I haven't told her enough how much she means to me. We have been the ''close sister relationship'' that siblings envy. She has been there for me through any kind of trouble, and through any kind of happiness. Our relationship has grown since we were younger and I am so excited to be graduating next week and moving back home where I am right down the road from her and her husband.

Mission Statement

I thought long and hard before starting this blog. I made a blog in high school and was not very into it, I would have to say. I didn't exactly know what to write about coming into this. Should I write about the books I read? Should I take on a Julie and Julia blog? What should I write about that will keep people interested?

Well, I think I owe it to myself to just..blog. I think every day or every week will be a new topic of discussion and I will blog about that. At least a question at the end of each blog for bloggers to answer or ponder on. Maybe I will get some feedback from bloggers on which one I should do. :) I want to be interested in what I write about and I want others to be interested as well. My blogs will keep people wanting to read more. I hope. Feel free to comment on my posts at anytime.

I am very close to my family and have the most amazing friends in my life! People call me Giggles, because I not only have the most characterizing life, but I laugh all the time. I have a freckle in my eye, and no, i cannot see it when I my eyes are closed or open (yes I have been asked both of those more than once). I love life and God!*
